Detective Dean, who led Project Warlock, revealed that from November 2023 to January 2024, eight violent robberies occurred in Brampton, including home invasions, carjackings, and commercial robberies, targeting jewelry, clothing, and luxury vehicles.
“During one home invasion, a victim sustained a life-threatening gunshot wound to his lower body,” Dean stated.
“The initial investigations into these eight incidents identified an organized criminal network based in Brampton and Mississauga as responsible for these robberies.”
