SBP Group, and Longowalia Group forge strategic partnership to accelerate construction & delivery of projects

In a significant move to further strengthen its commitment to timely project delivery and execution excellence, SBP Group has announced a strategic long-term partnership with construction major Longowalia Group to accelerate construction across its residential, commercial and plotted developments in Punjab and the tricity region.

Addressing media at JW Marriott here, SBP Group Chairman and Managing Director Aman Singla said the collaboration marks a significant milestone in the company’s growth journey and will enable faster execution, better project planning, improved resource deployment and superior construction quality across multiple projects.

“Every market goes through cycles but customers ultimately place their trust in companies that continue to execute consistently. At SBP, our focus has always been on visible execution rather than market sentiment. This partnership with Longowalia further strengthens our ability to deliver projects on time with uncompromising quality,” said Aman Singla.

Sandeep Longowalia, MD, Longowalia Infra Private Limited said that the strategic collaboration with SBP goes beyond a conventional contractor relationship and is designed as a long-term execution partnership to support SBP’s expanding development portfolio.

Longowalia added, “We are pleased to partner with SBP Group at a stage when execution efficiency has become the defining factor in successful real estate development. By combining our large-scale construction expertise with SBP’s development capabilities, we aim to accelerate project delivery while maintaining the highest standards of quality.”

Singla further said that the company has maintained steady progress across all its current projects despite subdued market conditions by prioritising execution over aggressive project launches. Construction is progressing across multiple residential, commercial and plotted developments, with several projects nearing completion while others are achieving key construction milestones, he said.

In reply to a question, Singla said that SBP is currently engaged with over 20 million square feet of construction across commercial and residential spectrum, giving direct and indirect employment to around 1500 skilled and unskilled workers.

“We have over 30 projects currently in the pipeline, out of which15 projects are under various stages of construction in Punjab and tricity. On an average, we are consuming millions of tonnes of steel and RMC every month during construction.  This will further strengthen employment generation in the next couple of years when our projects will be near completion,” informed Singla.

He said that SBP remains optimistic about the long-term prospects of the real estate sector and would continue to pursue a disciplined expansion strategy driven by genuine demand, strategic locations and customer-centric developments.

“We believe in launching projects responsibly and executing every commitment exceptionally well. In real estate, confidence is built through timely delivery, transparent communication and quality construction, not merely through promises,” he added.

Notably, the partnership would focus on integrated planning, robust project monitoring, efficient deployment of skilled manpower and scalable construction practices to ensure consistent execution across multiple projects simultaneously.

Both Singla and Longowalia expressed confidence that the collaboration would create greater value for SBP customers, stakeholders and the regional real estate market while supporting employment generation and sustained investment.
