Haryana is the pioneer state in India to implement its own “Creche-Policy,” setting a precedent for other states.

The “Creche-Policy” details that these centers, located near workplaces, cater to children aged six months to six years for eight to ten hours daily.
Skilled staff manage activities including play, health check-ups, vaccinations, sleep, education, and physical development.
The creches also provide nutritious meals, funded by the state government, and have feeding rooms for infants, allowing mothers to feed their babies during lunch breaks.
Looking ahead, Minister Goel stated that the Women and Child Development Department is committed to expanding the number of creches in response to increasing demand.
Training sessions for creche workers, helpers, supervisors, and children are being conducted in various districts, underscoring the department’s dedication to the overall development of children.
