Small Wonders School, Mohali, celebrated its Annual Day with enthusiasm and vibrant performances under the theme ‘ELEMENTA – Where Life Begins’, highlighting the beauty of nature and the elements that sustain life.
The celebrations began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by a welcome address by the
school Principal, Ms Herdip Nama. The programme took the audience on a journey through the wonders of creation, with young students showcasing their talents through dance, drama and thematic presentations.
Performances such as ‘The Divine Power – Shakti Ka Swaroop’, ‘The Buzz of Life’, ‘Dance of the Flames’, ‘Whispers of the Wind’ and ‘Celestial Dreams’ depicted different aspects of nature. Presentations including ‘Mother Earth – Our Living Home’, ‘The Sacred Flow’ and ‘When the Elements Collide’ highlighted the interconnectedness of the natural world. An energetic Bhangra performance added a festive touch to the celebrations.
Addressing the gathering, Ms Nama emphasised the importance of participation in children’s holistic development. “Our primary objective is to ensure that every student participates in the Annual Day in one role or another. At such a young age, children learn coordination, cooperation and team spirit through such participation,” she said.
The programme also featured an address by the school Director and concluded with a vote of thanks. The celebration provided young learners an opportunity to develop confidence, creativity and teamwork.
