Yamini Malhotra Spills the Bigg Boss Tea: “Salman Khan Never Yelled at Me!”

Yamini Malhotra is clearly riding high post-Bigg Boss 18, and if her recent revelations are anything to go by, she walked out of that house not just with fan love, but with Salman Khan’s rare stamp of approval. “I am that one person, Salman Khan praised a lot,” she said with a grin in a new interview. “And I am the only person who didn’t get cussed or screamed at by him throughout the entire show.” Yep, while most housemates spent their weekends dreading the Weekend Ka Vaar, Yamini was practically glowing under the Bhai spotlight.

She went on to share a rather wholesome exchange: “He said, ‘Yamini, you got a lot of enemies on the show,’ and I was like, ‘Yes, Sir.’ Then he said, ‘It means you’re really great on the show.’” Naturally, she had to double-check, asking if that was actually a compliment. “And Salman was like, ‘Of course, it is.’ I almost had an aww moment!” Honestly, who wouldn’t?

But Yamini’s admiration didn’t stop at the show. She had major praise for Salman off-camera too. “He’s a chill guy, so sweet and so soft. I think he’s very soft-hearted—that’s why he maintains this aura, so people don’t take advantage. He’s like a coconut… outside he’s hard, but inside he’s soft.” A description that might just become the new fan slogan for Bollywood’s beloved bad boy with a heart.

For those new to Yamini’s journey, she debuted in the 2016 Punjabi film Main Teri Tu Mera, followed by roles in Chuttalabbayi and Dil Hona Chahida Jawan. But it was her TV stint as Shivani Chavan in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin that gave her a household name. With her wildcard entry into Bigg Boss 18, she showed a different side—strategic, spirited, and apparently immune to Bhai’s fury.

Next up? Yamini is set to make her Bollywood debut in Chill Marna Bro, and word is, she’s eyeing South Indian cinema too. One thing’s clear—whether it’s reality TV, romantic dramas, or regional cinema, Yamini Malhotra is just getting started.
