PHDCCI SHE Forum Organized the Second Session under Empowering Mind Series

PHDCCI SHE Forum and Punjab State Chapter of PHDCCI in collaboration with Amway India organized the second session of the Empowering Mind Series – ‘From Awareness to Action: Stepping into a Healthier Future’ at Ludhiana with an aim to bridge the gap between knowledge and practice by fostering dialogue, sharing expert insights, and encouraging actionable strategies that support mental, physical, and emotional wellness in both personal and professional spheres.

CA Vishal Garg, Co-Convener, Ludhiana Zone, Punjab State Chapter, PHDCCI delivered the welcome address and appreciated the consistent efforts of the SHE Forum and stakeholders in curating empowering knowledge sessions.

On this occasion, Alka Gurnani, Chair, PHDCCI SHE Forum Haryana & National Manager – Public Affairs, Amway India Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. shared a comprehensive view of wellness as a multi-dimensional journey that goes beyond diet and exercise. She also spoke about the role of nutrition, preventive healthcare, and self-care in achieving long-term health outcomes.

Bharti Sood, Regional Director, PHDCCI, shared an overview of the PHDCCI’s distinguished legacy of over 120 years. She highlighted the vision behind launching the PHDCCI SHE Forum, underscoring its commitment to empowering women entrepreneurs, professionals, students, and aspiring leaders through opportunities for skill development, mentorship, and business growth. Sood also announced the launch of the SHE Forum in Ludhiana and encouraged participants to actively join and support the initiative.

The event was graced by Padmashree Rajni Bector, Founder, Cremica Group, who addressed the audience as Guest of Honor and shared inspiring insights from her entrepreneurial journey, underscoring the importance of balancing business leadership with self-care and health. She also encouraged women to pursue their goals fearlessly, support one another, and create a lasting impact in their communities and industries.

Inderjit Kaur, Hon’ble Mayor, Ludhiana also attended as Guest of Honor and appreciated the focus on women’s health and empowerment. She reiterated the local administration’s support for such impactful community-centered programs. While appreciating PHDCCI SHE Forum, she expressed her belief that the forum holds significant potential to drive meaningful change by providing women with the support, visibility, and opportunities they need to thrive personally and professionally.

A highlight of the event was the engaging Panel Discussion on the topic: ‘Hustle with Health: A Wellness Blueprint for Women Entrepreneurs’, moderated by Alka Gurnani. The panel featured: Dr. Vibha Bawa, Convener, Steering Committee on Ayurveda, Siddha & Unani, and Founder, Dr. Vibha Ojas Fitness Clinic & Educational Centre; Dr. Ramandeep Kaur, Civil Surgeon, Ludhiana and Dr. Gagandeep Kaur, Dental Surgeon and Entrepreneur, Amway India Enterprises Pvt. Ltd.

On this occasion, Rashi Aggarwal, Mr. Ambar Bandopadhyay, and Roohi Gupta were present along with many participants, including prominent female entrepreneurs, corporate leaders from the region, and women from all walks of life.
