No one will be spared in the IDFC Bank scam – Anil Vij

Haryana’s Energy, Transport, and Labour Minister, Anil Vij said regarding the approximately ₹560 crore IDFC Bank scam that “a scam of around ₹560 crore has taken place, and some people have siphoned off the money and deposited it into their own accounts or used it in other ways. Therefore, the government will not spare anyone in this matter.” He further added that the Chief Minister has stated that the case will be handed over to the CBI.

Vij was responding to questions from media personnel today regarding the suspension of two IAS officers and one HCS officer by the state government in connection with bank scams.

*“Many people have already been arrested in these scam cases” — Vij*

Vij said that “many people have already been arrested in these scam cases, including bank officials. The Chief Minister has made it clear that we will hand over the matter to the CBI, and once the case goes to the CBI, you will see how things line up.”

*“Now we will win Assam, Bengal, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Puducherry as well” — Vij*

Responding to a question about elections in five states across the country, Vij said that “We won Haryana, Delhi, Maharashtra, and Bihar, and now we will win Assam, Bengal, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Puducherry as well.”

*“The government is making all arrangements to protect crop produce in mandis” — Vij*

Replying to a question about visits by former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda to mandis, Vij took a dig, saying, “Hooda Sahib himself has been Chief Minister; he did nothing during his tenure, but now when we are working, he is pointing out shortcomings.” He added that “Rain is not being produced by our government; but we are making all arrangements to protect crop produce in mandis.”
