PM Modi is delivering his tenth consecutive Independence Day speech to the nation from the Red Fort. Cabinet members, politicians, the leaders of all three armed forces, and government officials are also in attendance for the event.
On Tuesday, a comprehensive security arrangement is implemented throughout Delhi, with over 10,000 personnel stationed in and around the historic Red Fort vicinity.
Roughly 1,000 cameras equipped with facial recognition and video analysis technology have been set up within the Mughal-era fort and at strategic points to guarantee security and observe the movements of important dignitaries, as per reports. Traffic near the Red Fort has been limited until the conclusion of the festivities.
