“Farewell Party ‘Rukhsat 2026’ organised at Khalsa College”

Neha was crowned Miss Farewell and Ketan became Mr. Farewell, while Karamveer received the title of Mr. Handsome and Preeti was awarded Miss Charming.

The farewell party ‘Rukhsat 2026’ was organised at Khalsa College (Amritsar) of Technology and Business Studies, located in Phase 3A, under the leadership of the college Principal Dr. Harish Kumari. Junior students hosted the farewell for senior students of B.Com, B.Com (Hons.), BBA, BCA, BA, PGDCA, MSc IT, MA Sociology, MBA, and M.Com.

On this occasion, Vedic astrologer Dr. Charvi Thakur attended as the Guest of Honour. The program was inaugurated by Principal Dr. Harish Kumari by lighting the ceremonial lamp.

The Mr. and Miss Farewell, Mr. Handsome, and Miss Charming competitions were the main attractions of the event. Students walked the ramp in beautiful attire with captivating style. Junior students also organized various colorful cultural performances, including folk songs, western songs, and dance performances, which mesmerized everyone.

In the Mr. and Miss Farewell competition, Neha from BBA sixth semester was crowned Miss Farewell, and Ketan from BCA sixth semester was awarded Mr. Farewell. Karamveer from BCA sixth semester received the title of Mr. Handsome, while Preeti from B.Com sixth semester was awarded Miss Charming.

Addressing the students, Principal Dr. Harish Kumari said that only those who work hard in life achieve their goals. She extended her best wishes and encouraged students to become responsible citizens and bring pride to their parents, college, and professors.

At the end of the program, Vedic astrologer Dr. Charvi Thakur also conducted a free astro workshop for students and college staff members in the college premises.
