CII Indian Women Network Organizes Blood Donation Camp

With the objective of promoting voluntary blood donation and ensuring the availability of life-saving blood for patients in need, the CII Indian Women Network (CII-IWN), Chandigarh Chapter, in collaboration with the Rotary Club Chandigarh, organized a blood donation camp at the CII Headquarters, Sector 31, Chandigarh.
The camp received an enthusiastic response from participants, with a total of 20 units of blood successfully collected. A team from Rotary and Blood Bank Society Resource Centre, Sec 37, Chandigarh collected the blood units.
On the occasion, Sakshi Katyal, Chairperson of CII-IWN, said that every blood donation is not just a medical necessity but also a symbol of hope, compassion, and humanity. She emphasized that a small act of kindness can become the invaluable gift of life for someone in need. She encouraged people to embrace voluntary blood donation as a social responsibility and inspire more individuals to join this noble initiative.
She also expressed gratitude to all the blood donors, volunteers, and partner organizations for their support, stating that such initiatives play a vital role in strengthening the spirit of service, compassion, and community participation in society.
Testler supported the successful organization of the blood donation camp as the Event Partner. On the occasion, Fortis also held a free medical check-up camp for attendees that was conducted under the stewardship of Dr Manjit Trehan.
