BJP leader Akshay Sharma flags off free pilgrimage from Ward 62 to Khatu Shyam and Salasar Dham Religious journey organized to connect people with faith; 40 devotees depart by bus Amritsar: BJP leader Akshay Sharma from the North constituency organized a religious pilgrimage last night, under which a group of 40 devotees from Ward No. 62 was flagged off by bus for a spiritual journey to Shri Khatu Shyam Ji Temple and Salasar Balaji Dham.

A great sense of enthusiasm was seen among the devotees regarding the yatra. On this occasion, Akshay Sharma said that connecting people, especially the younger generation, with religion and culture is the need of the hour. With this objective, the pilgrimage has been organized so that devotees can visit these holy shrines and attain spiritual blessings.

He informed that the journey will first reach Salasar Dham, after which the devotees will proceed to seek blessings at Shri Khatu Shyam Ji Temple before returning. Akshay Sharma also mentioned that Mrs. Neha and Deepak from Ward No. 62 extended special support in organizing the yatra and led the group of devotees. He expressed gratitude to all those who contributed to making the journey successful. He further prayed to Shri Khatu Shyam Ji to bless everyone and bring well-being to all.
