Audience Have Faith In Me, I Will Maintain It With Good Cinema, Says Sunny Deol

Sunny Deol, who has recently enjoyed back-to-back successes with Gadar 2 and Jaat, expressed his gratitude towards his fans and reaffirmed his commitment to delivering quality cinema. Speaking to the media at a social event in Bandra, the veteran actor acknowledged the trust the audience has placed in him and promised to honor that faith with his future projects.

When asked about the overwhelming response to Jaat, Sunny Deol said, “Jaat got a huge response from people, they showered it with a lot of love. I would like to thank everybody. It motivates me, and that is why I am doing Jaat 2. The film has nothing to do with any community; it’s just a film. I am playing an officer, and I happen to be from the Jaat regiment.” He added, “In the future, I am hopeful that the other films I am doing will be enjoyed as much. People have faith in me, and I will make sure that faith is maintained by presenting good cinema.”

Sunny also shared an update on the highly anticipated sequel Border 2, revealing that shooting is underway and aiming for a January 26, 2026 release. “I am going back to the shoot. It’s my belief that we will wrap up shooting in the next 2-3 months. Everyone is working hard with dedication, and we are hopeful to make a good movie,” he said.

Known as one of the fittest actors in the industry, Sunny revealed his simple fitness mantra. “There is no secret to fitness; it should be everyone’s job. I won’t say eat this or don’t eat that, but whatever you eat, be mindful about it. Do some exercise or play sports. I believe one should wake up early, even before sunrise. By doing this, life remains positive.” Currently, Sunny Deol is busy with several projects, including Lahore 1947, Border 2, Ramayana Part 1, Safar, and Jaat 2.
