Artists XI and Chief Secretary XI won the exhibition matches

Chandigarh, Artist XI registered a comfortable seven-wicket win over Press XI in a Gully Cricket Tournament exhibition match at Sector 16 Cricket Stadium, organised by UT Cricket Association and Chandigarh Police. Batting first, Media XI managed 84/9 in 10 overs, with Gurmeet Valtoha scoring 19 and Raj Thakur adding 11. Ankesh Thakur’s unbeaten 15 provided late support, while Yashpal Kumar took three wickets. In reply, Artist XI chased the target in just 6.5 overs. Agnivesh (28), Navdeep Sahota (20) and Arun Thakur (18) starred with the bat.

In the second match, Chief Secretary XI registered a convincing victory over DGP XI in an exhibition match. Batting first after winning the toss, DGP XI posted 90 for 7, with Yashpal scoring 26 and Vikas adding 23 runs. Rajan and Saurabh were the standout bowlers, claiming two wickets each.

In reply, Chief Secretary XI comfortably chased down the target, losing just one wicket. Piyush starred with the bat, remaining unbeaten on 77, guiding his team to an emphatic win with ease.
