New Delhi, October 14, 2024 (ANI): Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to interact with 188 Indian Police Service (IPS) probationers on Tuesday, offering guidance on handling internal security challenges in India.
The interaction is part of a session with IPS probationers from the 76 RR (2023 Batch) in the capital, as announced by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA). During the session, the probationers will share their training experiences with the Minister.
Highlighting the vital role young police officers play in achieving Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of making India a developed nation by 2047, the MHA added that Shah will offer insights on internal security matters.
This 2023 batch includes 188 officer trainees, 54 of whom are women, who have completed the Basic Course Training Phase-1. Following two weeks of training with Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Central Police Organisations (CPOs) in Delhi, the trainees will proceed to 29 weeks of district-level practical training in their assigned cadres.
