Highlighting contemporary décor, global inspirations and curated wedding menus

Wedcation by Tivoli, Ambala, Tivoli Hospitality Group recently unveiled 2026 wedding and food trends through an exclusive showcase, reflecting the evolving preferences of modern Indian and NRI families. The event presented a curated preview of contemporary décor aesthetics, global wedding inspirations, sustainable celebration themes and refined culinary experiences.

Speaking on emerging trends, Akshay Gupta, Executive Director, Tivoli Hospitality Group, said, “For 2026, weddings are becoming more experiential and design-led. We are seeing a strong shift towards contemporary décor, global styling influences, immersive lighting, sustainable themes and thoughtfully curated celebration spaces that are elegant, personalised and visually impactful.”

The showcase transformed key venues across the property into live wedding environments, including Palm Jumeirah, styled for chic cocktail evenings and after-parties; the Grand Ballroom with adjoining lawn, designed for large-scale ceremonies and receptions; and the Orchid Banquet, curated for intimate and elegant celebrations. The walkthrough format highlighted the scale, flexibility and creative possibilities offered by each space.

Culinary trends took centre stage, with a team of expert chefs from across North India Hotels of Tivoli curating a wide-ranging menu selection. The showcase featured global menus, regional Indian specialities, interactive live stations, contemporary food styling and refined plating concepts.

Highlighting the culinary evolution, Akshay Gupta added, “Food has become a defining experience at weddings. For 2026, couples are looking for diverse menus that balance global flavours with familiar tastes, supported by strong food styling and presentation that elevate the overall celebration.”

With expansive banquets, luxury accommodations and a clear focus on trend-forward décor and culinary innovation, Wedcation by Tivoli, Ambala continues to set new benchmarks for modern weddings in the region.
