Velvet Clarks Exotica, Zirakpur Hosts a Joyous Cake Mixing Ceremony

Velvet Clarks Exotica, Zirakpur, kickstarted the festive season with its much-anticipated Traditional Christmas Cake Mixing Ceremony. To spread the warmth and cheer of Christmas, the hotel organized a delightful gathering, welcoming guests from various walks of life.

The event, held under the guidance of General Manager Maninder Jit Singh Sibal, was a vibrant affair, thoughtfully planned to create a festive atmosphere. A beautifully decorated Christmas tree, twinkling lights, and the melodious strains of Christmas carols set the tone for the joyous occasion.

Guests, including in-house patrons, dignitaries, and prominent local citizens, gathered to participate in this cherished tradition. Donning plastic gloves, tissue aprons, and Santa caps distributed by the hotel, everyone moved towards a 6-foot-long steel table laden with ingredients.

The table was a feast for the eyes, adorned with 25 kilograms of colorful dried fruits carefully arranged in festive shapes, including a snowman and a Christmas tree. The vibrant assortment included omega-3-rich walnuts, almonds, cashews, pistachios, dates, yellow raisins, black raisins, dried apricots, figs, dry ginger chips, orange peels, prunes, and cranberries.

As the activity commenced, participants joyfully crushed, patted, flipped, and tossed the ingredients together. A splash of assorted liquors was added, enhancing the rich aroma of the mix, which is believed to bring happiness and prosperity.

The ceremony, marked by laughter and camaraderie, was a true celebration of the season’s spirit. General Manager Maninder Jit Singh Sibal led the event with enthusiasm, ensuring every guest felt welcomed and cherished.

This cake mixing ceremony is a reminder of the essence of Christmas—coming together to create something beautiful and spreading joy to all. Velvet Clarks Exotica once again proved itself as a hub of festive spirit, setting the stage for a season filled with warmth and happiness.
