UTCA leadership promotes CPL at IPL’s final, sports league’s T-Shirt

Chandigarh, The leadership of the UT Cricket Association (UTCA) attracted significant attention at the finals of Indian Premier League (IPL) held at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad on Sunday night by sporting Chandigarh Premier League (CPL) t-shirts carrying the tagline “Shehar Ke Dhurandhar.”


UTCA Founder President Sanjay Tandon, President Saraansh Tandon, Secretary Hari Singh Khurana and Treasurer Alok Krishan were among those present at the prestigious cricketing event. Their distinctive CPL-branded attire quickly became a conversation starter among cricket enthusiasts, officials and spectators generated curiosity about the league and its unique identity.

The initiative was part of UTCA’s innovative marketing and brand-building strategy of President Saraansh Tandon which was aimed at creating nationwide awareness about the Chandigarh Premier League. The punchline “Shehar Ke Dhurandhar” connected the interest with cricket fans, sparking curiosity and prompting many to inquire about the league and its vision for nurturing local cricketing talent.  Sanjay Tandon also met ICC’s Chairman Jay Shah and shared updates on the Association’s ongoing initiatives, developmental programmes and vision for promoting cricket in the region.

CPL is scheduled to play from June 8 onwards till June 26 involving six franchisees Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Panchkula.
