Tricity’s First Indian Cuisine Drive-Thru Announced at Airport Road, Launches May 9

Chandigarh: Tricity food lovers are set to witness a first-of-its-kind culinary concept as Indian cuisine enters the drive-thru format in the region. Chandi Hospitality officially announced the launch of Tricity’s first Indian cuisine drive-thru, which will begin operations on May 9 at Airport Road, G Block, Mohali.

The announcement was made by Sonu Chandi Ceo/Owner, who shared that the hospitality group has been successfully operating 15 restaurants across California, USA, for the past 19 years and is now expanding its footprint in India with innovative dining concepts.

Under this expansion plan, Chandi Hospitality is introducing “CurryLane Kitchen” along with its restaurant “Curry & Hops Brewing Co.” in Mohali. The initiative aims to offer travelers and residents quick access to authentic Indian meals while on the move — a convenience traditionally associated with fast-food chains serving burgers and pizzas.

Speaking about the concept, Sonu Chandi said Indian cuisine has always remained people’s preferred choice, but the absence of an Indian food drive-thru option often left commuters with limited alternatives during travel. The newly launched model is designed to bridge that gap by combining speed, convenience, and authentic taste.
To elevate the culinary experience, Chandi Hospitality has brought onboard Chef Adit Grover as Culinary Consultant, who brings rich experience from The Oberoi Hotels. Chef Adit has played a key role in curating the flavors and menu for both concepts, blending authentic Indian taste with a modern presentation style.

The kitchens will also be led by Executive Chef Hira, who has previously worked with some of the biggest restaurants in New Delhi and brings extensive expertise in managing multi-cuisine operations. His experience and leadership will help deliver a diverse and high-quality dining experience across the menu offerings at CurryLane Kitchen and Curry & Hops Brewing Co.

He further revealed that Chandi Hospitality is planning a broader expansion across India in the coming years, with a focus on introducing modern hospitality concepts rooted in Indian flavors and dining experiences. The company aims to redefine the quick-service dining segment by promoting Indian cuisine through innovative formats.
