This institution is established in the name of the great Surya Kavi Dada Lakhmi Chand, whose legacy still inspires generations of artists today. Congratulating the students receiving their degrees, he said that the convocation is not just a formal event, but a celebration of knowledge, creativity, and responsibility. Rabindranath Tagore has said that the highest education is that which not only imparts knowledge but also harmonizes our life with the entirety of existence. You all are also stepping into the world as representatives of culture and creativity. India’s higher education system is one of the largest in the world, currently providing education to over 40 million students. Haryana has also made remarkable progress in this direction. He said that DLCSUPVA is not just making students graduate for the sake of employment, but this institution is creating such creative leaders who are impacting society through fields like performing and visual arts, fashion and textile design, film and television, as well as architecture. I feel extremely proud to see that artists from Haryana are making their talent recognized across the country.
Haryanvi folk traditions, music, theatre, and dance are receiving wide appreciation. This growing popularity is a sign of a cultural renaissance, which needs to be advanced responsibly. At the same time, it is also important that we stay connected to our roots while innovating. He said that in the future, this university should establish partnerships with global art institutions, participate in international cultural exchanges, and establish Haryana as a respected contributor to the world’s artistic heritage. He congratulated and conveyed best wishes to all the students receiving their degrees. The heart of the state’s art, culture, and creativity is this university: Education Minister Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda congratulated all the students receiving their degrees and said that participating in such a program is not only a state duty, but also a matter of personal joy and pride. He said that this university is the heart of our state’s art, culture, and creativity. Graduating from here is proof that you have not only become educated but have also honed your sensibilities and skills here.
The presence of the Governor at the ceremony reflects that the government is serious about the state’s education system. Under the leadership of CM Nayab Singh Saini, our vision is clear. We are not just an institution that awards degrees, but are developing skill centres. He told the students that when you step out of this institution, you will not have just a piece of paper in your hands as a degree, but also the expectations of society and the dream of a developed India on your shoulders. You all are the bearers of Haryana’s rich heritage in the field of arts and performance. Your art should carry the fragrance of Haryana’s soil along with its culture and modernity. Do not just be job seekers, but take a resolve to become job providers. In the era of technology and AI, human emotions and ethical values become important. Make yourself a great person along with being a successful professional. Never forget your roots.
Cherish in your memory the sacrifices of your parents and the guidance of your teachers, because behind your success is their years of hard work. He said that I congratulate Vice-Chancellor Dr. Amit Arya for the way he has nurtured the youth; the state will remain indebted to him for this. Celebrate the Convocation like a Festival: Vice-Chancellor The Vice-Chancellor of the University, Dr. Amit Arya, welcomed all the guests and congratulated the students receiving their degrees.
