Winter is a much-anticipated season in India, but it also brings an increased risk of illnesses such as colds, coughs, and respiratory issues, often caused by weakened immunity.
Chyawanprash, a 3000-year-old Ayurvedic remedy, is widely known for enhancing immunity and protecting against common infections like colds and coughs.
Dabur Chyawanprash, enriched with immunity-boosting ‘Rasayana’ herbs, is particularly effective in combating seasonal illnesses through its immunomodulatory properties.
As part of its commitment to promoting health among future generations, Dabur Chyawanprash has launched a large-scale awareness campaign focusing on improving the immunity of underprivileged children across India.
The initiative includes immunity awareness sessions conducted in collaboration with a leading doctor, educating children on the importance of building a strong immune system to ward off infections caused by seasonal changes, bacteria, and viruses.
The campaign was inaugurated today in Chandigarh with a session for over 250 students from Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Sector 6, Panchkula.
The event highlighted the importance of maintaining immunity during winter and taught children about basic hygiene practices and the benefits of a nutritious diet.
Commenting on the initiative, Mr. Alok Kapoor, Sales Head for Punjab at Dabur India Ltd, said, “For over a century, Dabur Chyawanprash has been dedicated to helping Indians strengthen their immunity.
This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment. The cold wave claims numerous lives each year, and through this campaign, we aim to educate and support underprivileged children by providing them with immunity-boosting Chyawanprash and emphasizing the importance of robust health.”
Physical and mental health counselor Renu Mathur added, “Seasonal changes bring sudden temperature fluctuations, leading to illnesses like colds, coughs, and the flu.
Enhancing immunity is key to preventing these issues. Dabur Chyawanprash is an effective solution to meet immunity needs during such weather transitions.”
Dabur Chyawanprash has partnered with leading NGOs across 22 cities, including Agra, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Jaipur, Udaipur, Kolkata, Siliguri, Bhubaneswar, Patna, Gaya, Indore, Raipur, Pune, Aurangabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Nasik, Nagpur, Gwalior, Ranchi, and Chandigarh, to reach underprivileged children and promote better health practices.
