‘Stardust’ a new track of Punjabi singer & music director Maddy Sethi unveiled

Singer and music director, Madhur Sethi popularly known as ‘Maddy Sethi’ –  whose dance number ‘Teri Bindiya’ touched million of hearts has released his new Punjabi track ‘Stardust’ during a press meet held at Piccadilly Hotel, Sector 22, Chandigarh.

‘Stardust’, which is Maddy’s eighth song, has been released under his own music label ‘Minash Entertainment’ on his YouTube channel under the same name . The beautiful track is penned by Nitish Chanoria and Rap is written by Sumit Bhardwaj, while the composition of the song has been done by Amrit Sharma.

Known for his dance numbers – this time, the singer has added fresh elements to his new track ‘Stardust’. Maddy, who hails from Chandigarh and currently lives in Mumbai due to his ongoing projects said, “My new song ‘Stardust’ is peppy and entertaining and h is an amalgamation of – Drill, Rhythm, Blues, Romance and Rap. This is the first time that I did rap in my career. And I hope that it will connect with the audience and will garner praise and love.”

While addressing the media, Maddy Sethi said, “Unlike my previous songs, I wanted to bring something new for the audience this time. So, I tried to infuse ‘my style’ into the Punjabi music scene with this song. It has swag, romance, and rap, which makes it a complete package of entertainment.  The song has catchy and peppy beats which instantly connects it to listeners.”

In the 3 min 20-second song video, singer Maddy has enacted a role of a flamboyant, romantic boy, who subtly expresses his love to a girl. The song’s video is directed by Sahil Baghra and Jerry Batra, aka ‘The Ogzs’ who have given the video an edgy international appeal by use of amazing backdrops and scenes.

Talking about his journey, singer Maddy said, “I have been working in the music industry for the last 10 years. I love music and films. I debuted with the ‘Tu Bombay Di’ track, which hit 1 million views in 7 days and my other song ‘Hanji Hanji went viral and hit 1.1 million views on reels!”

Expressing his love for music, he elucidated, “For me music is a medium to escape from reality. It is the only thing, which keeps me sane! I lost my mother in 2020 just before the pandemic hit. It was the darkest moment for me and my family. So, music was the only remedy, which healed me and brought my life back on track.”

“My inspiration is my father, who’s a doctor by profession and an amazing singer too. Whatever, I am able to achieve in my life, it’s just because of him. He is my biggest motivator and critique,” added Maddy.

The 30-year-old singer further shared that he is working on many projects, which will roll out soon in the near future.
