Society is still not open about the idea of adults making their own decisions: Taneea Rajawat: Taneea Rajawat, the young and beautiful actress who is popularly known for her role in Netflix film Love and Shukla. Some of the other projects were The Reunion, Code Red Nazar, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya, and now she is currently in buzz for her role in Disney Plus Hotstar’s Bed Stories. The series is a tale of different stories witnessed for years in a hotel room.

Taneea is seen essaying the role of Rama, a simple yet confused girl from Banaras. Rama is in a relationship with her boyfriend Aditya, and she is in a dilemma about whether her boyfriend loves her or only wants to get intimate with her.

Talking about her project, Taneea says, “My character is more relatable to the current generation as it talks about relationships and the dilemma faced by partners. It also shows the harsh reality about how society judges people and still does not accept adult relationships.”

Talking about how society still hasn’t accepted the fact that adults can make their own decisions, the actress says, “Society is still not open about the idea of adults taking their own decisions regarding their relationships. There are clashes when our choices depart from those of society. We are moving towards advancement but the minds of some people are still stuck in that 1000-year-old mentality.

Even today, people start judging when they see a girl and a boy together, irrespective of the fact that they can be friends or even if they are in a relationship, then what’s the bad point in that? I feel an adult is capable of making their own decision, whether it’s for a relationship or a life decision.”
