Shubham Chaudhary Appointed Chairman of the Paralympic Sports Development Committee

In a significant and far-reaching decision in the field of Indian para sports, Shubham Chaudhary has been appointed as the Chairman of the Paralympic Sports Development Committee under the Paralympic Committee of India (PCI). This appointment is being seen as a major step toward strengthening the future of para athletes and the overall development of para sports in India.

The official appointment letter was issued by the top leadership of PCI, including Devendra Jhajharia (President, PCI), Shri Satya Narayan (Chairman, Para Athletics), Shri J.P. Singh IRS (Chairman, Para Powerlifting), and Shri Satya Prakash Sangwan (Vice President, PCI). Their support highlights his leadership abilities and strong administrative experience.

Currently, Shubham Chaudhary is also serving as Vice President – India Para Powerlifting, Advisor – BRICS Chamber of Commerce & Industry, and State Co-Head (Policy & Research) – Bharatiya Janata Party Yuva Morcha, Haryana.

He has also contributed significantly as Joint Organising Secretary in the Organising Committee of the 2025 World Para Athletics Championships held in New Delhi. The prestigious international event witnessed participation from 104 countries, with approximately 2,200+ athletes and support staff taking part.
