PHDCCI’s 3Day Renewable Energy & Electric Vehicle Expo Kicks Off in Chandigarh on Friday

With a focused objective to promote electric mobility and solar energy adoption in the region, PHDCCI in association with CREST and Eventage is organizing the 4th Edition of the Renewable Energy, Solar and Electric Vehicle (REV) Expo, commencing on January 9, 2026, at the Sector-34 Exhibition Ground, Chandigarh.

Sharing the details, Naveen Seth, Deputy Secretary General, PHDCCI, informed that the three-day expo will be inaugurated by H. Rajesh Prasad, IAS, Chief Secretary, Chandigarh Administration. The event will be presided over by Sh. Saurabh Kumar, IFS, Secretary, Science & Technology & Renewable Energy, Chandigarh Administration.

Satish Dev Jain, Chair, Haryana State Chapter, PHDCCI, will deliver the welcome address, while Sh. Lokesh Jain, Co-Chair, Haryana State Chapter,  PHDCCI  will propose the vote of thanks.

The expo will witness participation from leading electric vehicle and solar energy manufacturers from across the country, who will showcase a wide range of electric vehicles, solar technologies, clean energy solutions, and allied innovations, providing a comprehensive platform for industry interaction and public awareness.

Bharti Sood, Senior Regional Director, PHDCCI, stated that while several Central and State Government schemes and incentives have been launched to promote electric vehicles and solar energy, there remains a significant need to enhance consumer awareness. The three-day expo aims to educate residents of Chandigarh and the surrounding region on the benefits, incentives, and long-term advantages of EVs and solar energy solutions, while encouraging sustainable choices.

She further informed that following the inaugural session, a seminar on “Business Opportunities for Women in the Solar Industry” will be organized. The session will feature expert deliberations by  Sukhwinder Singh Abrol, Project Director, CREST, and CS Arshdeep Kaur, Convener, NCLT and Corporate Affairs Committee, PHDCCI who will share insights on emerging technologies, policy support, and entrepreneurial opportunities in the solar sector. The 4th Edition of Renewable Energy and Electric Vehicle Expo will conclude with a closing ceremony on January 11, 2026.
