PHDCCI in collaboration with Canara Bank organized a MSME Cluster Meet at Chandigarh

Haryana State Chapter, PHDCCI in collaboration with Canara Bank organized a MSME Cluster Meet on at PHD House, Sector 31, Chandigarh with an objective to make MSME aware about the Government Industrial policies and funding schemes of the bank.

Lokesh Jain, Co-Chair Haryana State Chapter, PHDCCI welcomed the Speakers and participants and mentioned MSME contribute significantly to India’s GDP, exports, and employment generation.  Sh. B Ravi, Deputy General Manager, Regional Office, Chandigarh while expressing his views mentioned Canara Bank disbursement Rs. 1000 Cr last year and is all set to increase more funds this year,  He also explained TAT (Turned around Time) for disbursement is minimum in Canara Bank.

In her opening remarks, Bharti Sood, Regional Director, PHDCCI, emphasized the critical role of credit in enabling business growth and expansion.  Sh. Arshjeet Singh, GM, Industry Department, Punjab talked about the lucrative industrial policy of Government of Punjab. He stated Punjab Industry Department offers various capital subsidy schemes to incentivize investment and industrial development.

Shefali Bansal, Assistant General Manager, MSME Sulabh Chandigarh proposed the vote of thanks and thanked industry leaders and other stakeholders for their participation. The seminar was attended by over 110 delegates from banks, associations and various industrial houses of the region.
