PHDCCI & Chandigarh Administration Host RAMP Program

Chandigarh: PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in collaboration with the Chandigarh Administration, organised a program on Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) at Chandigarh.

Nishant Kumar Yadav, IAS, Secretary Industries and Deputy Commissioner, Chandigarh, graced the event as Chief Guest. In his address, he lauded the RAMP scheme as a commendable initiative of the Government of India, enabling MSMEs to innovate and scale to the next level. He emphasized that in today’s rapidly evolving business landscape, technology adoption is the key to survival and growth.

Welcoming the participants, Madhu Sudan Vij, Chair, Chandigarh Chapter, PHDCCI, highlighted that the program was designed to ignite discussions, collaborations, and ideas to empower MSMEs. He stressed that creating awareness about the RAMP scheme could be a game changer for Indian industry.

Anupam Shrivastava, Managing Director, Accenture, in his session on Legal and Regulatory Compliance, pointed out that while Artificial Intelligence offers immense potential for MSMEs, its ethical aspects must not be overlooked. He emphasized the importance of ensuring AI remains transparent, fair, and human-centric.

Suvrat Khanna, Co-Chair, Chandigarh Chapter, PHDCCI, urged participants to innovate responsibly, noting that technology should be leveraged not only for efficiency but also for building a sustainable future.

Bharti Sood, Regional Director, PHDCCI, described the RAMP scheme as a transformative step aimed at strengthening MSMEs through capacity building, technology adoption, market access, and ease of credit.

A dedicated session on Technology Adoption in Agentic AI was moderated by Partap K. Aggarwal, Founder and CEO, IDS Infotech Ltd., who explained that Agentic AI marks a significant advancement with systems capable of reasoning, acting, and adapting autonomously. Panelists included Ms. Anubhooti Bhatnagar, Director, Capgemini; Puneet Jindal, CEO, Labellerr AI; and Aman Mundra, Founder & CEO, Welzin.ai.

Nakul Puntambekar, Assistant Vice President – Product, Millipixels, shared insights on innovation and business growth in the IT industry, highlighting how technology enables faster, smarter, and more effective market strategies. He noted that leveraging data-driven insights can help companies refine positioning, shorten decision cycles, and build agile, scalable operations. The program witnessed the participation of over 100 industry leaders from the Chandigarh region, who gained valuable insights and networking opportunities.
