People of All Communities in Haryana to Celebrate Maharana Pratap Jayanti: Yogendra Rana

State-Level Ceremony to be Held in Salwan Village, Karnal on May 29
Chief Minister Nayab Saini and Several Leaders to Attend

A grand celebration of the birth anniversary of the valiant warrior Maharana Pratap is set to take place in Haryana. The event is not being organized by any one specific caste but by people from all communities, and all communities will participate in the program. Through this event, the people of Haryana aim to send a message of unity and brotherhood across the nation.

These thoughts were expressed by Yogendra Rana, MLA from Assandh in Karnal district, during a press conference today. He announced that on May 29, a state-level celebration of Maharana Pratap’s birth anniversary will be organized in Salwan village of Karnal district. Thousands of people are expected to attend the event. People from Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan will be welcomed by the village panchayats and members from all 36 communities. Seating and food arrangements for one lakh (100,000) people have been made. Rana added that Salwan is the largest village in the Karnal Lok Sabha constituency.

He pointed out that before 2014, there was no tradition in Haryana of celebrating the birthdays of saints and great personalities. The then Chief Minister Manohar Lal initiated the practice of organizing such events for spiritual leaders and icons of all religions. The current Chief Minister Nayab Saini has continued to promote such initiatives.

Rana stated that all preparations for the Maharana Pratap Jayanti celebration in Salwan on May 29 have been completed. Invitations have been extended to people across various regions of the state to participate. Chief Minister Nayab Saini will be the chief guest at the event. Additionally, Haryana’s Agriculture Minister Shyam Singh Rana and several Rajput leaders from Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan will also attend.

Other dignitaries expected at the event include Dr. N.P. Singh, President of Rajput Sabha Karnal; Anil Chauhan, Youth State President of Haryana Rajput Representative Sabha; Media Advisor Dr. Naresh Maggu; Akshay Rana; Salwan village Sarpanch Jaibir Fauji; farmer leader and Chairman Bijendra Salwan; Rakhpal Rana; Brij Pal Rana, General Secretary of Rajput Sabha Karnal; Sangram Rana; Master Ravinder, and many others.
