Pargat Singh visits CM Mann at Fortis Hospital

Jalandhar Cantonment MLA, Pargat Singh, visited Fortis Hospital on Sunday to check on Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s health. CM Mann has been diagnosed with leptospirosis, a bacterial infection. Singh is notably the first opposition leader to visit the Chief Minister in the hospital. AAP MP Sandeep Pathak had also visited Mann on Saturday to inquire about his condition.

Speaking to Babushahi Network, Pargat Singh mentioned that CM Mann is recovering well but expressed disappointment over the lack of visits from AAP members and other political leaders in Punjab. Singh found it disheartening that no AAP MLAs had visited the Chief Minister during his illness. He specifically pointed out that Arvind Kejriwal, who often refers to Bhagwant Mann as his “younger brother,” had not come to visit him in the hospital.
