Orientation program held at Amity University Punjab

  • 1500 students of 2023 batch take part
  • Blend of modernity with tradition  marks  the Orientation program
Known for its harmonious blend of modern education and India’s spiritual heritage, Amity University Punjab marked another milestone in its academic journey with a grand orientation program. The event, which embraced the ancient Vedic Hawan ritual to invoke divine blessings, saw the enthusiastic participation of over 1500 students and their parents.

The ceremony was graced by eminent personalities including U Ramachandran, Senior Vice President of Amity Education Group, Gauravh Gupta, Vice President of Amity
Education Group, and Dr RK Kohli, Vice Chancellor of Amity University Punjab, alongside the staff and faculty of the university.

Dr Preeti Sahni, Country Head of Amity Education Group, warmly welcomed the incoming batch of 2023 and ignited their spirits for the exciting road ahead.

Addressing the gathering, U Ramachandran, on behalf of the Founder President Dr Ashok K Chauhan and Chancellor Dr Atul Chauhan, highlighted their unwavering commitment to education as a tool for nation-building. He shared a glimpse of the university’s rich academic heritage spanning over three decades.

Gauravh Gupta, in his motivational speech, congratulated the  students who were selected out of a competitive pool of over 6000 applicants. He encouraged them to uphold the legacy of Amity while embracing the technological advancements of the digital era. He stressed the importance of core human values and nurturing family bonds.

Vice Chancellor Dr RK Kohli inspired the students to embark on their academic journey with an innovative and research-oriented mindset.

Dr Dapil Kumar, Registrar, emphasized the importance of discipline, decorum, and adherence to the university’s zero-tolerance ragging policy.

The orientation continued with informative sessions on student engagement, university clubs, and committees led by Dr Shivali Dhingra, Dean Faculty of Management and Dean Student Welfare.  Sahil Kapoor, Associate Director Business Development and Marketing, shed light  on international exposure opportunities and campus life.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr Chanderdeep Tandon, Dean-Faculty of Sciences and Engineering, expressing gratitude to all attendees for making the event a success.
