Nexus Elante Mall hosts Unique Visual Art Exhibition

Nexus Elante, known for its shopping and F& B experience is hosting Visual Art Exhibition.   Mall   under   its “Armaan Art Initiative” in   association   with   Shanky Studio, Social Substance, SAI and Creative Karma have launched an initiative with a cause to promote visual art in the Tricity.

The exhibition will be inaugurated by the eminent personalities like Punjabi Film Director Royal Singh, Producer Mr. Parag Vijra, and Vishal Kalsi, another reputed name in the Punjabi film industry. Tricity has always welcomed art with open hands. Under the visual art exhibition initiative, local amateur and professional artists have got an opportunity to display and sell their paintings and craft-works at Nexus Elante Mall Visual Art Gallery. The exhibition is also promoting differently abled artists whose work is also a part of the same.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Salim Roopani, Centre Director Nexus Elante Mall says, “We are very excited to hold this unique art exhibition for our patrons. The Tricity have got the chance to experience this amazing visual treat. We are happy to see the turnaround of people to see this. Nexus always believes in Ab Har Din Kuch Naya and will keep bringing new things.”

Curator of the exhibition, Suruchi Sharma, said, “Our sincere thanks to Nexus Elante Mall management, and other partners for their tireless commitment and support. They made everything easier for all of us. Without their help, this would have not been possible to manage events of this scale.

“The selection of artwork was a tough thing as we have been getting a lot of incredible artwork from all over but we have to choose best out of all and all these artwork on sale during the exhibition”, she added.

The participants include 50 budding, amateur and professional artists, with ages ranging from 15 to 90 years, from a wide range of professions such as businessmen, Chartered Accountants, doctors, engineers, IT professionals, lawyers, students, teachers, housewives, and special children.

Art lovers can buy the artwork at 50 percent discount and support the local artists and buyers will also get a chance to win a free painting at the end of every month. The artists are from various states such as Punjab, Haryana, Himachal, Chandigarh, Rajasthan, Delhi NCR, and Jammu. They have exhibited over 150+ artworks and craft items to the people of Tricity.

This exhibition is curated and organized by the Creative Karma group which aims at promoting local artists by conducting various events such as free visual art classes, art workshops and visual art exhibitions etc.
