Riding high on the success of Pathaan, superstar Shah Rukh Khan took to his social media and praised Rani Mukerji starrer Mrs Chatterjee VS Norway.
Rani Mukerji plays the role of Bengali mother who battles the state of Norway for her kids. The film is based on Sagarika Chakaraborty’s book The Journey of a Mother.
Sagarika Chatterjee is a woman who stood up against the government of Norway to fight for the right to be reunited with her children after they were taken away from her and placed in foster care and were told that they will not be returned until the age of 18.
Shahrukh Khan took to his social media and tweeted, “What a tremendous effort by the whole team of Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway. My Rani shines in the central role as only a Queen can. Helmed by Ashima Chibber, ‘Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway’ also stars Neena Gupta, Jim Sarbh and Anirban Bhattacharya among others. The film hit the theatres on Friday, 17th March 2023.
Meanwhile on the work front, Shahrukh Khan is currently busy wrapping two massive projects, such as Dunki and Jawan.
Jawan is written and directed by Atlee. It stars Shah Rukh Khan in a dual role with Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra and Priyamani.
Dunki is directed by Rajkumar Hirani, also feature Taapsee Pannu as lead characters.
