Manushi Chhillar, Miss World 2017 and now a rising Bollywood actress, took to social media on her father’s birthday to share more than just wishes — she shared her heart. In a touching post on X (formerly Twitter), Manushi celebrated Dr. Mitra Basu Chhillar, calling him not just her father but her “Popsie, hero, and forever guide.”
“From picking me up after school performances to now picking me up from the airport, you’re always there no matter how busy your day is,” she wrote. “The way you care for people, go out of your way to help, and heal lives every single day, it inspires me endlessly.”
The tribute paints a deeply personal portrait of a man who has quietly shaped lives — both within his family and beyond. A renowned physician specializing in regenerative medicine, Dr. Chhillar is known for his humanitarian spirit as much as his clinical expertise. Manushi’s words reflect not just a daughter’s love but also genuine admiration for a man she sees as a living example of kindness, humility, and strength.
Accompanying the post were a series of candid photos that captured the man behind the accolades: a joyful cake-cutting celebration with family, snapshots of Dr. Chhillar offering aid during a beachside medical outreach, scenes from his clinic, and even a playful moment in a tropical kitchen. The images — full of warmth and character — showed a father whose compassion is matched by his zest for life.
Manushi’s post struck a chord with fans and followers who responded with admiration, many praising her grounded perspective and her father’s inspiring journey. In an industry where glamour often takes center stage, this tribute stood out for its authenticity — a reminder that behind every public figure is a private pillar of strength.
As Manushi put it, “Here’s to celebrating you today and always.” Her message resonates as more than a birthday post — it’s a celebration of a bond, a legacy of care, and a partnership grounded in purpose.
