Freshers’ Party Organised at Khalsa College (Amritsar) of Technology & Business Studies

A grand Freshers’ Party was organised at Khalsa College (Amritsar) of Technology and Business Studies, Phase 3A, Mohali, under the leadership of College Principal, Dr. Harish Kumari, to welcome the new students. The programme commenced with the ceremonial lightening of the lamp by Dr. Harish Kumari, accompanied by faculty members of the college.


During the Freshers’ Party, students from senior and junior classes kept the audience enthralled for hours with a series of cultural performances. From melodious songs to vibrant dances and energetic Bollywood acts, the talent on stage drew much appreciation from the audience.

One of the highlights of the evening was the Mr Fresher, Miss Fresher, Mr Handsome, and Miss Charming contests. The new students participated with great zeal and enthusiasm. Contestants walked the ramp, introduced themselves, shared their hobbies, and spoke about their future aspirations. The judges also posed questions, which the participants answered in their own unique style.

At the end of the contest, Kasak, BA First Semester, was declared Miss Fresher, while Anmol Singh Dhillon, MBA First Semester, was chosen as Mr Fresher. Taking the event forward, Neelam, MBA First Semester, won the title of Miss Charming, and Harbir Singh, BCA First Semeste,r was awarded Mr Handsome. The winners were crowned by Principal Dr. Harish Kumari, who also extended her congratulations to all of them.
