Free Vocal Music Classes to Begin at Kalagram from September 1

Chandigarh: The North Zone Cultural Centre (NZCC), Patiala, under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, is organising free vocal music classes at Kalagram, Sector 13, Chandigarh. The first batch will commence from September 1, 2026, with classes scheduled from 4 pm to 6 pm.

Students aged 8 years and above will be eligible to participate. The classes will be conducted by Piyush Bhatt, M.Phil. in Music, Music Teacher and Indian Classical Vocalist. According to the organisers, seats are limited. Interested students can contact +91 98722 24242 for registration.

The organisers said the objective of these free music classes is to develop interest and understanding of Indian classical music among young people, while promoting the rich musical heritage of India and taking it forward to the next generation.
