“Committee Formed to Unite Punjab, Haryana, and Western UP Against Divisive Forces”

A coordination committee of Punjab, Haryana and Western UP has been formed to fight divisive forces in India at ‘Sada Bhaichara (Unity Conference)’ program organised by Misl Satluj, a socio- political body, at Kisan Bhawan, Chandigarh. Speakers at the gathering stressed the need to come together, join forces against the divisive politics of the BJP and RSS.

Chairman, Unionist Sikh Mission, Manoj Singh Duhun said that the major contradiction right now in the country is Brahamnism. He advised to confront it only with love.
Eminent Supreme Court lawyer, Mahmood Parcha stressed on the importance of returning to Ballot Paper and saving the constitution of India. “EVM should be the foremost issue – EVM Hatao, Ballot Paper lao.”

“If we save the constitution, if we make it a part of every citizen’s life in real, we’ll be able to save our nation,” he said. He also emphasized autonomy to states. “All states should be autonomous. They (BJP and RSS) want to break the unity among people.” He also mentioned that there should be special laws for minorities, and the SGPC Act should be strengthened.

Senior Advocate, Supreme Court, Balraj Malik stressed that all humans belong to one race. “Manuwadi ideology is the most dangerous of all. Unless we understand this, we will not be able to defeat it. Casteism is cancer to this country,” he said.

He further said that this country is a federation of states. But they (the BJP) want to centralize everything. “It is a mindset of exploitation. We need more rights for the states. And states, in turn, should give more rights to the panchayats and the Gram Sabha. People need to join together,” he said.

Farmer leader form Haryana, Pushpendra Singh asked all those oppressed by this regime to come into the fold of Sikhism. “This is the only method to fight Brahamanism. Only the Khalsa can fight Hindutava.

Young leader and activist Dr. Ritu Singh asked everyone to work together to solve the issues we face today in this country.

President of Misl Satluj, S. Ajaypal Singh Brar stressed on the need for a harmonious North India where all the communities can rise above their differences and work for a shared, bright future together.

Social activist, Dr. Shyam Lal, Dr. Kapur Singh, Sarv Khaap leader, Dr. Omprakash Dhankar, Tulsi Grewal, S. Kirpal Singh, Dr. Yashpal Singh, Ram Kishan Pawadiya attended the program among other notable voices from North India.
