Chandigarh Bodybuilding & Physique Sports Association organizes Mr. Chandigarh Championship

The 13th Edition of Mr. & Miss. Chandigarh was held at SD College , Sector 32, Chandigarh. The event was organised by Chandigarh Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Association (CBPSA) under the aegis of Indian Body Builders Federation(IBBF). Over 100 bodybuilders from the region competed in three segments – Senior Bodybuilding, Sports Physique and Athletic Physique. Avtar Singh bagged the coveted title of Mr. Chandigarh. In Men’s Sports Physique, Ashish Dogra was the winner, and in Men’s Athletic Physique, Arshinder Singh was adjudged the winner . Cash prizes and gifts were distributed to the winners. Narinder Singh Shergill, Chairman Milkfed Punjab was the chief guest. Kalvinder Singh, President, CBPSA and Pradeep Singh, General Secretary, CBPSA provided the much needed guidance and leadership for the successful organisation of the event.
Ms. Rubika, a woman bodybuilder who was a special invitee, guest posed at the event.
Suraj Bhan Nain, Secretary General of North Zone Body Builders Association (NZBA), was the Chief Judge of the Mr. Chandigarh Championship. He said, “We organised the Mr. Chandigarh Championship to provide a platform to bodybuilders from the region and beyond to showcase their well chiseled and muscular bodies, attained through a lot of hardwork and dedication.”
Nain added, “Youngsters these days face many health challenges due to a sedentary lifestyle triggered mainly by social media addiction. To break this vicious cycle, I call upon youth to be physically active and adopt exercise and sports as a way of life. Bodybuilding too can be of great help to maintain a healthy physique. But bodybuilding as a sport must be pursued under the guidance of an experienced trainer.”
Meanwhile, the participants’ displayed their muscular bodies to thunderous applause from the audience.
It is noteworthy that Upkar, Nakul Kaushal ,Rahul and Vikram Singh were the judges at the Mr. Chandigarh event.
