Actress Ruchira Singh reveals that the film ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ inspired her to become an actress: Actress Ruchira Singh is popularly known for her roles in Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Mukkabaaz’, the marathi film ‘Vajvuya Band Baja’ and the Hotstar web series Human. Currently she is in buzz for her character Yasmin, in the Netflix series SHE season 2, by the maker Imitiaz Ali and director Arif Ali.

Be it a film or an actor, every actor has one or the other inspiration that led them to choose the path of acting. Actress Ruchira Singh, while talking to us, revealed what inspired her to step into the world of showbiz.

The actress says, “It was from the film ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’, it really stirred me. I felt inspired after watching that film, as the actors in the film did a brilliant job. Gangs of Wasseypur is a film that has actors who are truly gems. Impeccable acting skills of actors . I have watched that film many times and I got inspired to become an actor after watching this film.”

She added, “After watching the film, I got to know the power of good acting and thought about becoming an actress. At that time, I promised myself that I’d only do some quality work to impress my audience the same way I was impressed by the actors of the film Gangs of Wasseypur.”

The actress expressed her gratitude to people for loving Yasmin (her character in the series). “I have been receiving immense love from the audience. The audience’s response gives me a lot of positivity, and it keeps me motivated to work wholeheartedly. To get immense love from the audience is really overwhelming.”
